 Bruce says the two patches should be merged, but I think the result
 we need for Solaris 2.6 is different from the result needed for
 Solaris 7.  This would seem to preclude using the same fix for both
 OSes, but I don't know fixincludes, and I'm not certain that the
 required results must in fact be different.
