     I attached the new t1.cpp file submitted.
     Not a bug.
     I tried this with gcc version 3.0 20010507 (prerelease)
     and Compaq Tru64 C++ compiler.  
     It is correct for the compiler to issue a warning and
     generate code in this particular case.
