 Re: http://gcc.gnu.org/cgi-bin/gnatsweb.pl?cmd=view&pr=1094&database=gcc

I've just built a current POSE with a recent gcc (2001-05-02) on
Linux/x86, and apart from numerous coding errors in POSE I found no
problems with the compiler. Preprocessed source showing your problem
would still be helpful, as anything which makes gcc crash is important.
It would also be nice to know which version of gcc you found the problem
with; note that RedHat 7.0 ships with an unofficial version of gcc which
is not supported by the FSF.

Note that without access to the exact source code which caused your
problem (preferably in pre-processed form) there is almost no chance of
a gcc developer being able to reproduce your problem. We/they would
love to investigate this, but cannot go any further without more
 information.

 http://www.gnu.org/software/gcc/bugs.html gives some more information
 which may help.

We (I!) would appreciate it if you are able to provide more information.

 Regards,

 James Dennett
