     I may as well confirm my own bug.
     
     --target-help isn't quite so broken now, but it still has
     a problem with gcc version 3.0 20010320 (prerelease): the
     compiler's target-specific options are listed twice in
     the output:
     
     
     Target specific options:
       -m96bit-long-double       sizeof(long double) is 12.
       -m128bit-long-double      sizeof(long double) is 16.
       -mno-sse                  Do not support MMX and SSE builtins
       -msse                     Support MMX and SSE builtins
     ...
     
     There are undocumented target specific options as well.
     
     Target specific options:
