>Environment:
AlphaPC164, RedHat 6.2, gcc 3.0 snapshot 20010305,
binutils snapshot 010308,
both configured for alpha-redhat-linux
>Description:
linking applications (examples and tutorials shipped
with the toolkit) against the built library fail with loads
of errors of the following type:
/usr/lib/qt2-gcc3/lib/libqt.so: undefined reference to `non-virtual thunk to QProgressDialog::~QProgressDialog()'
/usr/lib/qt2-gcc3/lib/libqt.so: undefined reference to `non-virtual thunk to QSlider::valueChange()'
/usr/lib/qt2-gcc3/lib/libqt.so: undefined reference to `non-virtual thunk to QSocket::~QSocket()'
objdump -x /usr/lib/qt2-gcc3/lib/libqt.so shows these references
as *UND*, i.e. they are not resolved within the library
as they should. maybe binutils problem?
>How-To-Repeat:
haven't found a way to reproduce bug outside of
compiling qt-2.2.3. circumstances that trigger the bug are
not clear.
