>Environment:
Interix 2.2 running on top of Windows NT 4.0
>Description:
Though the documentation states that Interix is one of the newly
supported platforms, the compiler fails to build under a pristine
installation of Interix 2.2. The configuration runs fine and the
compiler builds all the way to stage1, however the very first time
the build tries to use the xgcc stage one compiler, the build dies.
Here is the tail of the make output:

echo "int xxy_us_dummy;" >tmp-dum.c
./xgcc -B//D/Intrix/gnu/i386-pc-interix/bin/ -B./ -I//D/Intrix/gnu/i386-pc-interix/include -S tmp-dum.c
xgcc: Internal compiler error in `do_spec_1', at gcc.c:4507
