System: Linux decomino 2.2.17 #1 Mon Sep 4 20:22:16 UTC 2000 i686 unknown
Architecture: i686
host: i686-pc-linux-gnu

configured with: ../gcc-cvs/configure --prefix=/opt/gcc/snapshot --disable-shared --enable-threads=posix --with-system-zlib
>Description:
The GCC faq-o-matic is full of junk. I want to clean some of it up,
but don't seem to be able to.
>How-To-Repeat:
See http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc/2000-11/msg01249.html (which has
received no reply, hence this PR to record that a problem seems still
to exist).
>Fix:
Give me (jsm28@cam.ac.uk) whatever access is needed to be able to
remove junk items from the FOM or move items to the appropriate
categories. Alternatively, completely clean it up, removing all junk
questions, making sure that every answer is perfect and up to date and
that every question is perfectly worded and in the most appropriate
category where every user who might want to ask the question will find
it first, and maintain it thus for ever, so that there is no need for
me or anyone else other than whoever can already do it to be able to
move FAQ items around.
