[PATCH] bootstrap/97666 - really fix sizeof (bool) issue

Pastoed the previous fix too quickly, the following fixes the
correct spot - the memset, not the allocation.

Bootstrapped / tested on x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu, pushed.
