[PATCH] Build a tri-arch compiler on mips-linux-gnu

Re-sending the patch now that my copyright assignment is finally in
place. Ok for mips-triarch.diff once stage1 is open?

Also, it seems the doc part has been accidentally committed already.
Is it ok to commit mips-linux-doc.diff now?
