To be clear, my comments are only about -Wno-pedantic-ms-format in CFLAGS 
(I think it's fine in BOOT_CFLAGS, but not unconditionally in CFLAGS).  I 
have no comment about -Wl,-no-undefined in LDFLAGS and no information 
about whether or not that breaks anything.
