[v3] libstdc++/27340

Hi,

per Gaby's indications in the audit trail. The changes should be safe
enough vs typos because we have a testcase
(26_numerics/valarray/name_lookup.cc) going through all the affected
functions. Tested x86_64-linux, committed to mainline.
