The suggestion was not to keep all the OPT_W_bah.
Rather, the suggestion was a single option:  --enable-diagnostic-option-names
as a configuration flag.  Given that, the compiler will issue the
[...] note by default
(or not.)  So the package builder never gets to have to specify a gazillion
--enable-show-warn-xxx-option-names.
