well, it looks like bootstrap works after all - it *did* break down on
me before, but I don't have the logs anymore.
One thing that I did different this time is to throw the
"--enable-bootstrap" flag. Maybe this makes a difference?
If I run into bootstrap trouble again, I will let you know, though.
