Hans is the maintainer of upstream boehm-gc, but is he the maintainer of
GCC's in-tree copy of it? I thought that was maintained by the java
maintainers. We don't list upstream maintainers of imported projects in our
MAINTAINERS file AFAIK.

(Also, he has WAA access already, and can speak for himself. I'm not sure
it's entirely proper to go adding someone else's email address to the list, as
it might imply you were representing on their behalf that they were willing to
accept the implied responsibility. And what you've added is a mailing list
address rather than a personal address; I don't see any other mailing list
addresses in MAINTAINERS, and that could well be a deliberate policy in
relation to making sure areas of maintainership are clearly assigned to
individuals in order to guarantee accountability, but I'm inferring there.)

    cheers,
      DaveK
