Grabbing the GNU sed source and converting it into a library
for fixinclude would work great.  A few template tweaks and you're
all set.  I'll do it as soon as I find that elusive "copious spare time"
thing I hear people talking about.... ;)  It would probably bulk up
GCC a little bit, too.
