I'm not asking for a change or revert, I'll just put it on
record that we don't have a clear-cut terminology on this,
AFAIU.  Point being, don't make a precedent of the above.
Paolo calling that a list of "arch"es didn't seem very off to
me; not less correct than calling them "target".  (For one, they
aren't fit as-is as arguments to the configure option --target=*
as config.sub don't always map those to a valid...target).
