Hi,

another simple ICE on invalid, recent regression however. Patch 
regtested x86_64-linux.

Another option would be keep on lying, but differently, to the rest of 
the front-end - e.g., using void_type_node instead of integer_type_node 
passes the testsuite and leads to no error at foo declaration - but, if 
I remember correctly some past discussions, we don't want many of those 
tricks...
