Well, a metasyntactic variable with a space in its name looks kind of
bad, too.  I can just change it to @var{filename}, but there is precedent
for hyphenation in "info texinfo var" and other manuals, e.g. the Libtool
one.  OK?

Hmm, I found quite a few of those now.  Enough to warrant a separate
patch (sorry).
