In addition, I've bootstrapped and tested mainline, all default 
languages enabled, with the two control speculation patches applied and 
control speculation turned on by default via the ia64.opt file.  I've 
verified by hand that the resulting cc1 binary has control speculative 
instructions.  I haven't noticed any regressions compared with the 
recent gcc-testresults submissions, so I think control speculation 
patches should be okay.  I will do the same today for the 4.3 branch tree.
