Please go through your patch and fix each place matching '[a-zA-Z0-9]('
(i.e., an open parenthesis after a macro or function name).  There are
about a dozen of them.

FWIW I don't know either.  If you haven't done regression testing yet,
which I assume you didn't because you didn't say otherwise, I think now
would be a good time to do it (and report back once your patch is
regression-free).
