Ian,
As I mentioned at the GCC Summit, it looks like we finally have a
consensus that the patch I posted at:
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2007-07/msg01566.html
is acceptable to everyone. It has passed bootstrap and regtesting on
both powerpc64-linux and x86_64-linux. Is this ok for mainline?
