Can I clarify which patch you are approving? The original one with the
adjustments pointed out by Volker which only fixes PR27668, or the
slightly modified one I posted after which also fixes PR27962?

The only difference between the two is the check added to
tsubst_template_parms to check for invalid template arguments. Since
identical checks to other functions were part of the original patch I
included them together rather than submitting a separate patch.
