I've done an i686-pc-linux-gnu bootstrap / regtest, and an X sh-elf regtest.
I'm afraid I don't have any test hardware for the ports I have modified 
files of in this patch.
(In my loft I have stored an Atari TT, with has a 33 MHz m68030, but it 
has too little RAM / disk to host gcc 4.x, and is not set up for remote 
testing.)
