GCC 4.2 Status Report (2006-08-22)

I'm pleased to note that there's been a noticeable decrease in open
regressions relative to my previous report. The total number of
regressions has fallen from 160 to 140 and the number of P1s has falled
from 29 to 21.

In an effort to move us closer to the goal of 100 regressions to create
the branch, CodeSourcery's GNU toolchain team will be having a GCC 4.2
regression hack-a-thon this coming Friday, August 25th. Our goal is to
fix at least one P1 or P2 regression per Sourcerer. Please join us!

Assuming that we continue to reduce the regression-count, I'll start
setting up the 4.3 process soon, so that we're ready to go before the
4.2 release branch is created.
