This is OK for 4.0 as well.

In general, there's no reason not to fix testsuite problems on release 
branches.  Even were we to break something, we would only be breaking 
the testsuite; not the compiler.  So, please feel free to backport 
testsuite improvements to release branches, and consider approval for 
mainline as approval for release branches as well.  Of course, if you 
think you're doing something particular risky, you might hold off, or 
let the patch spend some time on the mainline first.
