What is not desirable however are the long comments cut-and-pasted from 
the internals manual, which say nothing about the particular machine and 
never get updated when the internals manual does.  Look at the comment 
above the definition of PCC_BITFIELD_TYPE_MATTERS in this patch for 
example, or that above HARD_REGNO_MODE_OK.
