Jakub, can't you self-approve the patches since nobody is interested in 
reviewing them?  It's your code after all.

We have problems on Solaris too, and particularly when the bootstrap compiler 
is not GCC.  I have a few additional tweaks to submit but there are de 
facto stalled.
