The tree-ssa merge is over and mainline is open
once more. However, since tree-ssa represents a big
change, you should verify your patches once more
with the current mainline before checking it in.

3.4 is in a "regression fixes only" mode and approval for
committing to that branch has to come from its Release Manager,
who happens to be Mark Mitchell.

The approval for mainline *does not* mean you can commit
to the 3.4 branch.
