Yes, because that's still what's documented in
http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/libstdc++/install.html.  :-(

AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE in configure.ac still only requires 1.7.6 as
well... although it looks like aclocal doesn't check that line after all,
so getting that updated wouldn't have helped.

I'll regenerate them and commit shortly.  Thanks for pointing this out!
