Installed, thanks.  In fact, this patch went in immediately after Mark
created the 3.4 branch.  I'll wait for Roger to report his findings on
V5.1.

Ok for that branch if that works as well?

Btw., what do you think about a follow-up patch to rename bad_lval to
alpha_bad_lval, remove the file list and apply it only to alpha*-dec-osf*?
