Yes, this is OK.  (I think I thought I'd approved it already, sorry!)

I think I can pre-approve adding tests into this directory; they 
clearly can't affect any target other than xstormy16, and even there 
the worst that could happen is that they might spuriously fail.  So go 
ahead, enjoy!
