Sure.  I am working on a version 3 of the patch which I expect to post
at the end of today.  I am trying to address as many of the issues that
Richard has raised as I can in the time I have left, but I won't be able
to deal with all of them.  If you want to take it over after that, and
work on version 4 of that patch, that works for me.
