You mean using one unused bits from tree_decl?

Well I used that approach and added code to emit .no_dead... directive
in assemble_..(), in Darwin CVS gcc 3.3. But various people here,
asked me to use this approach (emit directive in 
handle_used_attribute..)
for 3.5.
