Are we sure this really should be a web page?  I'd consider adding
the contents of this file to gcc/config/README, which also fits neatly
with the following:

(BTW, please use <em>not</em> instead of *not*.)

If this should really become a web page, how about naming it backends.html
and put a link directly below the one to frontends.html in our navigation
bar?

I don't feel strongly about any of these issues, just some thoughts...

PS: In a couple of places please use "GCC" instead of "gcc".
