Applying for write access (was Re: Unreviewed QNX patches)

Hi.

As per Jim Wilson's suggestion, I would like to apply for write access.  
Other than the obvious, I don't know all that this means, or how to go about 
doing it (perhaps this e-mail is sufficient request).

Are there any threads or URL's on this?
