[C++ PATCH]: boolify {begin/finish}_compound_stmt

I've installed this obvious patch to boolify begin_compound_stmt and
remove the parameter from finish_compound_stmt -- it can be
extracted from the compound stmt itself.

booted & tested on i686-pc-linux-gnu.
