Do you mean that I am inconsistent? :-)  (Smullyan has a "proof" that
everyone is either conceited or inconsistent.  I aim for the former, but
fail, and end up with the worst of both...)

You're right that this isn't really what I'm looking for here, because
it's not a code-gen or rejects-valid kind of problem.  Still, I'll
accept this patch.
