[3.2, 3.3] Documentation merge

It's been a while since the libstdc++ docs on the trunk were copied to the
branches, so I'm doing that now.  If anybody makes any doc changes on the
trunk, please make the same change to the 3.2 branch.  (I'll be doing more
bulk merges for 3.3 later, but I suspect this will be the last for 3.2.)
