I'm thinking of something like this (untested) patch. I've included
the generated files to make it easier for you. Just apply it and run
./contrib/gcc_update --touch before bootstrapping. (You can probably
just configure --enable-languages=c --disable-checking to make it go
faster since we only care about collect2.)
I figured out ldfcn.h from Rainer's pre-previous message, but I don't
know if ldgetname is in the same header on AIX and further if AIX
actually includes ldfcn.h or not (collect2.c is a twisty maze of
#ifdefs.) So I'd appreciate hearing from both David (AIX) and Rainer
(Tru64) whether this patch works for both and if there are any
warnings on either platform.
If you do run across a problem, please suggest a fix since I have
neither of these platforms.
