There seems to be consensus that it is important to fix this for, at
least, some platforms.  Otherwise, there are backwards compatibility
problems in the future.

If, however, you've already evaluated the issue and it doesn't seem
critical on the S390, I'd suggest leaving well enough alone. :-)
