Bug in flex prevents fixing ISO C warnings in gengtype-lex.c

It looks like 2.5.4a is the latest version, although it seems that
flex is no longer licensed under the GPL (it was a GNU project member
originally, though, right?).  Anyway, I found this in flex/README:
