Ah. I hadn't realized you were allowed to omit the (*) to
pass a function like that.
The general idea of the patch I think is good, but I'm sure
that I'm not qualified to properly review it.
Gavin is the currently listed C front end maintainer, but
he hasn't been particularly active since joining the ranks
of management. I know that he was trying to give away the
job of mips maintainer -- you could probably have the role
of C front end maintainer or co-maintainer if you want it.
Thoughts, Gavin and Steering Committee?
