And as an extra bonus for Emacs users, I'm sure someone out there will write
GCC patches allowing an .el file to reach inside the compiler and actually
manipulate the hooks.  Including these .el files during the Emacs unexec
would result in a single program binary that runs as the editor and the
shell and the compiler...

Ouch, I think I broke my brain.
