Hi - can someone please apply the patch described in
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2001-06/msg00288.html
to GCC 3.0. It's the last tiny bit to make Objective-C ready for release
on GCC 3.0. The patch has been approved by Ovidiu as far as I understand
(see reply to the message), only he doesn't have the time to apply it to
CVS right now. The patch fixes a wrong patch which was applied to libobjc
on 25 May, breaking it just before the release.
We need it quickly because I asked on the gnustep mailing list to test
Objective-C in GCC 3.0 - and now everyone is complaining that it doesn't
work because of this problem - could someone please apply the patch so
that we can do some real testing ?
Btw, there is also a little documentation patch which I'd like to have
applied to GCC 3.0:
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2001-06/msg00234.html
Could an Objective-C maintainer have a quick look at it, so it can get
approved, and then someone can apply it ? It fixes/updates outdated
documentation about thread support in libobjc.
