CVS revision numbers (was Re: fixup_var_refs_insns structural rearrangement)

Maybe at some point we should push the CVS revision numbers for all sources
from the current 1.(1.38e23) to 2.0.

(Note how I skillfully avoided any suggestions on when this could possibly
happen.  The obvious answer of "for GCC 3.0, so that CVS revision 2.0 of
foo.c == what was released with GCC 3.0," won't work, because 3.0 is on
a branch.)

On the other hand, being able to point to that number and claim "we fixed
ten thousand bugs before releasing this" should stand for something...  :-)
