AIX vtable issues

	As I said, it may have been done to work around a paticular
problem at that time because one way worked and the other did not.  I
think this magic existed before I really became involved in GCC on AIX.  I
can well imagine that some of the other members of the RISC group
recommended this when they contributed the systems to you and NYU.  The
problem is that they were using XLC as the basis for suggestions and not
fully realizing that GCC was not as intelligent about storage layout.
