A gcc 3.0 patch for Linux/MIPS to bring it close to other Linux.

has been tested exhaustively by myself and others. I have
applied it against latest GCC out of CVS as well as the 3.0
branch and have built numerous kernel, kernel modules and
userland applications. Please commit this patch ASAP. Thanks.
