Patch for g++

I'd like to check this in:

    http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2000-09/msg00085.html

It only affects C++ code using the Java extensions. I tested it when
I submitted it by rebuilding libgcj from scratch with it (with the
appropriate changes to the library as well).

This patch is actually an important part of moving libgcj to the new
C++ ABI. Once this change goes in, libgcj will no longer depend on
the details of the name mangling scheme. I.E., it is important for
GCC 3.0.

Could some C++ maintainer read the C++ part of the patch and either
approve it or tell me how I must fix it?

Tom
