Sorry, I've only done the first five pages so far.  I'm generally
trying to improve the organization, and to spend more time on features
that people actually use.

I'm inclined to leave it as a "dry reference work."  It'd be nice if
we had a complete user guide for the C language, but as is I think
a reference manual is more useful.
