Assuming no regressions, that's just fine.  But you should also remove
the FIXME at the top of the file:

   o It looks like the return label is not being placed in the optimal
     place.  Shouldn't it come before the returned value? 

Thanks for taking care of this.  I was actually going to look into
shortly, and make sure that doing this didn't screw anything up.
